Review: Extraordinary stylish - The pictures do not give justice to the refined coloring of this pen. I was hoping for a reasonably bright lapis blue body. The color of this pen is that of deep blue sky with bits of clouds skimming along. I bought this for a color difference as my other fountain pens are black, dark blue, black, etc. When capped, it looks like a quite large pen. Fortunately, when the cap is off, the pen grip is a comfortable size - even for my small hands - and the pen itself it is light weight when posted. The fine nib glides on paper and provides a nice thickness of ink that is readily readable but still fine for details or small lettering. I can't wait to start writing with it.

Beautiful pen but it writes horribly. The nib is very scratchy and skips ink all the time. I have a $20 fountain pen that writes better than this. Like I said it’s a beautiful pen but it should write much better considering the price.
