I used grout to pot the rest 4 in place. I think it’s made up of some kind of plaster of Paris kind of stuff. So I thought it’s better to put grout in the inner two ringsides. I think it’ll add to its longevity. I also see that the frame isn’t that sturdy and so even if you give a slight push by a finger it starts to vibrate.Overall the product is beautiful but fragile. But, as per the other reviews on similar items it's quite fragile. Ours didn't arrive intact, but we half expected that. The problem is the packaging - the bits aren't secured in the box and have little protection, so they just self destruct in transit.I didn't really expect the company's response - they sent out replacement parts and collected the old ones with zero hassle. Well done MDA. This time everything was packaged correctly.Now, let's talk quality. Unfortunately it's not great. Nothing quite fits or is exactly round - expect gaps. The design looks to be hand-placed, so has the odd mistake and spacing is quite random.
