Along with the Zephyr, they remained Fords largest saloon cars throughout the period. The Zodiac Mk II was manufactured in Dagenham, Essex in 1956 and production lasted until 1962. The upmarket four door Zodiac Mk II had several alterations to distinguish it including elaborate tailfins and a wide front grille. However, there was an absence of auxiliary lamps and wing mirrors although it retained the two-tone paint of the Mk I, whitewall tyres, chrome wheel trim and gold plated badges. It had a top speed of 87.9 mph and could accelerate from 0-60 in 17.1 seconds. Fuel consumption averaged 21.5 mpg and it cost around 968 on the road. 1:76 scale Ford Zodiac Mk II is presented with a delicate two-tone mix of blues with the signature gold Zodiac lettering, wide radiator grille and silver trim. It is registered HCC 944 and is rounded off with a pale blue interior and black steering wheel. A great addition to your Ford saloon car timeline of the period! Safety Warning This product is not suitable for children under 3 years. It contains small parts which can present a choking hazard and some components have functional sharp points and edges. Handle with care. ## Features - This item is NOT a toy and is intended for modelling use - Scale - 1:76 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07JFKHKD9 | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Batteries are Included | No | | Best Sellers Rank | 240,588 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) 2,050 in Pre-Built Scaled Model Motor Vehicles | | Brand Name | Oxford Diecast | | Colour | Blue, gold, silver | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (23) | | Educational Objective | To teach children about classic cars and automotive history | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Weight | 50 Grams | | Manufacturer | Oxford Diecast | | Manufacturer Part Number | 76FZ001 | | Manufacturer recommended age | 36 months - 8 years | | Material Type | Silver | | Maximum Speed | 1.15 mph | | Model Name | Ford Zodiac MkII | | Model Number | 76FZ001 | | Model Year | 1956 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Players | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Scale | 1:76 Scale | | Size | 8.6 cm | | Special Features | Portable | | Subject Character | zodiac | | Theme | Classic Car | | Toy Vehicle Form | Car | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Images ![Oxford Diecast 76FZ001 Ford Zodiac MkII Shark Blue/Pompadour Blue - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/5166Rzi058L.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Oxford Diecast 1/76 Ford Zodiac MkII Shark Blue - Oxford Diecast Ford Escort Mk1 Modena Green --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/125724483-oxford-diecast-76fz001-ford-zodiac-mkii-shark-blue-pompadour-blue](https://www.desertcart.us/products/125724483-oxford-diecast-76fz001-ford-zodiac-mkii-shark-blue-pompadour-blue) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
