Must drill light mount *by F***K on November 27, 2018* There were no mounting holes on the back side. They have to be disassembled to drill holes to match the existing holes on my boat. That is what I saw right out of the box. The small threaded insert on the back side and the area where the wires pass through will need it's own holes also because they protrude about a quarter of an inch. It isn't a problem for someone that is mechanically inclined. If you want an easy replacement, you better look elsewhere.UPDATE: The green light went out the first time I set the boat in the water. It worked for about 2 minutes. I changed to one star. The lights are pure junk. I took good care installing them and being real careful with the very thin wires, soldered them, and used heat shrink crimps. I'm very disappointed in these lights. They were plenty bright until one quit working right after I needed them. There is no changing the bulbs in these. They are 6 LED's on a board. Don't buy these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small Bright Lights *by D***S on September 10, 2018* These new led lights as smaller than the old bulb lights they replaced. However, I do believe they are brighter. The mounting was a bit different since the old lights used 2 sheet metal screws and the mount with 1 sheet metal screw and 1 orientation tab. They should hold up well since they don't get any stresses or strains on them. I just have to fill in a couple of old screw holes since the spacing of the mounting screw and orientation tab are more closely spaced on these led lights. That is not critical for my application, though, since the lights are mounted on the aluminum fence.The best thing is, I don't have to worry about bulbs and corroded contacts with these lights. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Flimsy *by J***. on November 10, 2018* These are very cheap and flimsy. They work just fine, but there is no bulb. If this fails, you it a remove the entire fixture and throw it away. I bought a different set that requires bulbs so if/when this fails I can go back to replacing a single bulb and not doing an entire removal and installation.
