Review: AaammmaZing!!!!! - This was a great choice for my project!!! I am new to chalk paint and I’ve used another brand recently and it worked well, however didn’t have the color option I needed for this project. I came across this brand during my search and Sooo glad I did! I little goes a long way and it definitely does not require primer. However, I was going from a very dark to a light color and wanted the paint to really Stick! I sanded a little of the top of my nightstand (you don’t have to) but I did because my nightstand had residue of body oils and perfumes etc…very light minimal sanding and I wiped the whole thing down thoroughly with a little soapy dawn dish sip water to get rid of dust and Debris . Then I wiped it down again with just water…let it dry. I primed it with 1 coat nothing serious and began to paint with the Ivory tower!! Very beautiful color by the way, I let it dry and it was easy to use. Side note* I used a brush for all corners, feet, edges and a small roller for the top and sides. Then I remembered I saw a few YouTube videos that said a little water stretches it and makes it even more to spread. I poured a little chalk paint in a separate container with just a LITTLE water. Do this in a separate container not in the container it goes in, because whatever is left over for use at a later time can “spoil” mold etc.. so in separate tray and the little bit of water I applied a second coat all over and sheesh this made it go on like butter! Talk about smoothhh sheesh I was impressed and wondered why I didn’t use water the first coating, but honestly I think it was better to use its full consistency for the first coating and only use the batch with a little water for the second coating. It dries fast, did not disappoint at all and looks great. I used polyurethane the varathane brand in satin for the top coat and it did not yellow. I read a few reviews and people said theirs yellowed. I did a test area (which I would recommend on your desired piece) to insure it doesn’t yellow. I’m highly satisfied and will be painting my other nightstand and big dresser next!!! Happy DIY :)
Review: French Beige cabinet redo....classy and easy! - I love love love this paint. We bought a vacation condo with a sad kitchen and I had a week to make it over. I used French Beige with the clear and dark wax. Ended up needing a quart and a half. I chose this chalk paint because I was not sure if the local big box store had the brand I've used before. They were sometimes out and because of time restrictions I could not take a chance. desertcart delivered reliably and the paint was waiting for me. Great coverage. A little tricky to scrape off when it dries but definitely doable. The dark wax made a huge difference and gave me the look I wanted. It dries in hours and makes a huge difference. Do not hesitate! I had never painted cabinets before but look at what I accomplished! You got this!

This was a great choice for my project!!! I am new to chalk paint and I’ve used another brand recently and it worked well, however didn’t have the color option I needed for this project. I came across this brand during my search and Sooo glad I did! I little goes a long way and it definitely does not require primer. However, I was going from a very dark to a light color and wanted the paint to really Stick! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great and covers up flaws easily

This stuff is great! I ordered the light blue which is called "Robin's Egg" and it is awesome! It is basically a tiffany blue and looks gorgeous. I have a camper and wanted to change the cabinets and doors from a dark blue to more of an antique look. I love the shabby chick look and wanted to use this to get it. The paint goes on easy, is thick, and hides flaws easily. The cabinets are older so there are cracks, bumps, etc on them and this paint over it made it look great. Pictures are attached. I used three coats of paint due to the blue underneath was super dark, and even though two coats would of probably worked I wanted to be safe. Despite using that many coats the paint was completely dry in about 2 hours. My only recommendation is to not go overly thick on this paint or when it dries there are cracks in the paint. Overall, this stuff was easy to use. Maybe it's just my nose, but while painting with it I also didn't notice a smell at all. Yay!
