But I bought them primarily because they stated the sole was gum rubber - due to hypermobility I slip over easily and a lot, so a good grip on slippers is essential to prevent the more dangerous falls, these are *not* gum rubber they are a cheaper synthetic material with barely any grip on carpet and none on tile. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent slipper for my feet! *by E***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 April 2018* Love these, my 2nd pair. The thickness of the sole in this slipper is great, supports my feet brilliantly. I'd recommend these to anyone who likes to be pampered from the head to the toes...
