The movement plus installation by a watch maker cost less than the cost of overhauling the 7S26. It is accurate to within 3 seconds a day and is hackable (second hand stops with stem is pulled out) and can be stem-wound. If you go online, look for "Seiko purist stem crown", it should be a whole assembly. I got mine on e(vil)Bay for forty bucks shipped. Works right off the bat, no fiddling around. Otherwise you can use the included stem and add a crown, but may have to fit it by hand to ensure water tightness. **Q: Can the crown position be adjusted to 4 o’clock or no?** A: You have to swap out the day wheel for one that sits at 4 o clock. Date wheel stays the same. easy swap **Q: will it fit a 42.5 mm case?** A: Yes. You just need the proper spacer for the case. I’ve installed this in an SNZH57 (42-43mm case) and simply had to take the spacer off the original 7S36 mvmt to put on this new NH36. Same with an SNKK27 (38mm case) - take spacer from 7S26.
