I don't have much room inside my controller.** A: The entire unit comes in a small plastic envelope. When you say controller, if you are referring to the unit on the wall, the wires plug into the controller like the original wires do. Nothing is different than your original setup. If you are talking about the part down at the valves, absolutely no additional room necessary.
