Review: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Approved! - I rebuild engines and components in a heavy equipment shop and I rely on this apron to keep my uniform a little cleaner throughout my day. I use this primarily during teardown when I'm sanding, grinding, and disassembling diry and oily parts. It's durable, takes the abuse well, and I like all the pockets for storing sanding discs, wrenches, and towels and the hammer loops are great for hammers and large pliers. I clean this apron every so often with a heated power washer and diluted degreaser and hang it up overnight to drip dry. It's held up for over a year like this and shows no signs of degradation. If I had to complain about something, it would be the neck strap that can be uncomfortable during extended periods of wear time with the pockets fully loaded. A padded strap, or even just a wider strap, would improve it a lot.
