Review: Natrol Biotin 5000 mcg easy to take supplement especially for WLS patients - I will start this review by saying I was NOT paid to do this review nor was I given this product to review. I bought it because I am in need of a biotin supplement do to my hair thinning after weight loss surgery. Biotin works but I have difficulty swallowing pills. I needed a chewable or something that dissolves but doesn't make be gag with its flavor. The Natrol Biotin 5000 mcg Fast Dissolve Tablets meet all the criteria and then some. #1 --- They are a great price. Compared to other brand of similar quality and criteria these are very affordable. #2 -- They deliver what they promise. The dissolve quickly. Not only that, they barely have any taste at all so they could be a chewable also (and I've done that with no problems). They are not chalky and have a nearly non-existent taste. For me, that's a plus. #3 -- I don't know why, perhaps the quality of biotin varies, but these work better than other biotin supplements. I noticed in the few weeks I've been using them that not only has my hair stopped thinning my hair is getting fuller in that area. My hair in general has become a bit thicker and split ends and dryness seem to be a thing of the past. My hair is very shiny and feels good to the touch. I use very little mousse, gel or spray in my hair. Even when I just towel dry it and brush it my hair looks pretty good. #4 -- My skin and nails have improved too. **Q: What is the difference between dissolve tablets and regular natrol tablets in terms of effectiveness ? Fast dissolve tablets are more effective ?**
A: to me yes! I feel that it absorbs into the blood stream faster and it gives me the energy I need at the top of the morning! And my hair is awesome as a result as well

A: No. You can chew it but it won’t work 100%. It’s sublingual, meaning you have to let it dissolve under your tongue. That’s why they are not labeled as chewable and as fast dissolving instead.

**Q: What is the expiration date on the bottle?**
A: The expiration date is 1/31/2016....

**Q: Whats the difference between maximum strength biotin and fast desslolve biotin?**
A: The only difference is that the fast dissolve is chewable. The maximum strength is in a pill/tablet form.
