I am spraying an oil painting** A: I would recommend multiple light coats after the paint has fully dried. I often do 3 -4 coats for best protection. **Q: I've sprayed 1 coat of this over an ink stamp done on a painted surface. Will the ink be properly sealed now? Thanks in advance for your answers!** A: My suggestion would be, let that dry, & then turn in a different direction, then spray again. Don’t get to close or it will take a long time to dry, & might stay sticky for a long time. It’s better to do more than one spray lightly than one heavy spray.
