I really like the style and it really is more of a sleeveless t-shirt than a tank top; the "straps" are wide and the arm opening is about as narrow as a normal t-shirt. The shirt also isn't too thick or too thin; instead perfectly in the middle. So it's not cheap quality, and you aren't going to overheat either when working out.Super happy with my purchase, I ended up ordering more and now have 6. For reference when reading my comments, I am 6', 175 pounds, muscular build. The material is on the soft side and is not too heavy and not too thin. Perfect IMO. The neck hole is a bit on the large side, and I have a normal neck. It fits right at the shoulders and lands about 4 inches below the belt. It is most definitely not an athletic cut which is fine because they don't claim that. I ordered a large Navy, and it is a bit loose with a 44" chest. This is all after laundering. It did shrink and will probably shrink more which might make it just about perfect. It is 100% cotton whereas the heather gray short is 60% polyester and should shrink less.
