The 1 1/2 HP Dust Collector System is designed for small shops applications and can help eliminate the clean-up after wood projects. This wood dust collecting system has a TFEC (Totally enclosed fan cooled) motor which provides minimal noise and allows for easy movement from machine to machine. “SMART” cone technology built in.

Review: Leaks fine dust - Lots of suction that worked well with a 15" planer. Not so good with a sander, it leaked a lot of fine dust between the plastic collection bag and metal body of the frame. Tried tightening the metal band holding the bag and adjusting the bag but the leakage continued.

**Q: what's country of origin?**
A: Canadian company importing dust collector from China.

**Q: Does this particular unit come with a metal duct or a flexible hose?  I need a hose for my application.  Thanks!**
A: This comes with an ABS duct & flexible hose as seen is pictures.  Please let me know if I can further assist!

**Q: What the the noise level?**
A: it's not too bad there is noise but to me it's not bad

**Q: dose this still come with the metal duct from the blower into the separator? the manual shows' a plastic hose.**
A: I believe new models come with metal, the older ones came with plastic.  Manual was just never updated.

The item arrived very quickly. Well built unit and all parts were spot on. Everything fit together correctly. I would recommend using one of the bolts to run through all threaded parts. This will make going together much easier. I had an issue with mine but General International was very quick to resolve, excellent Customer Service. I would recommend this product.
