It is also used in gauges and pipe threads for oxygen. If you don't need the non-flammability property's in this grease, There are probably a lot of grease products on Amazon that will work better. And a whole lot cheaper for sure. **Q: How does this grease compare to Nyogel 767A?** A: Nyogel is a dampening grease. No dampening qualities to Krytox. Krytox is for extreme environments, heat, cold, caustic, etc. What to use depends on what are you trying to accomplish. Specific grease for specific job. I also use this on the FEP film in my resin printer bed, it is also fluorinated. I smear a small 2mm drop all over the FEP with my finger and then wipe out all the excess with a microfiber cloth. Have had Zero failed prints since and the vat dumps out really fast since the liquid resin doesn't stick. Works much better than the dry film teflon spray people recommend. I can even tension the film very tight and the prints still don't stick.
