I mounted it on a swisher trail mower and I put it through its paces over the last couple of mowing seasons. It has yet to let me down. Worth every penny. I had to alter the pull behind mower a bit for the new engine but once that was done it bolted right up and fired up pretty much instantly. If needing a new mower engine you can’t go wrong. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Check the size of the verticle drive shaft you need and have a little help lifting onto the frame. *by R***S on November 6, 2025* I purchased this one year ago and use it a few times a week for our stable animal clean ups and cutting grass. The installation went in fine with a little help from my Grandson to lift it onto the frame of my GD LA120 which I have had for 17. I recently replaced all the wheels, tires, belts, blades and steering mechanism, so I decided to go for this upgrade instead of buying a new tractor. My original BS 21hp gave me 860 hours of life before freezing up and giving up the ghost. I was very careful in ordering as I wanted to make sure I had the correct shaft size and everything would fit. The fuel line needed to be extended, other than that I don't recall having an issue with the installation.
