It works great and I love the color because it maintains an authentic appearing aesthetic without the fuss of using actual sinew. It is very easy to work with and the results are beautiful. I am a beginner and this is the first thread I tried. It also works well for various other projects suck as mobile making, beading and jewelry making. It is waxed but there is not so much wax that when you tie it in a knot you have wax residue left over. If you required more wax I would imagine that adding some would be very simple with this cord. Personally, I would much prefer having to add than try to remove wax before I used a product. Other reviewers have mentioned that it breaks but the order that I received is very strong so it appears that they have improved the quality since that feedback. It is also a very good value for the price.
