**Q: Where can I purchase replacement poly whip strands**
A: I emailed the manufacturer Midwest Hearth and they helped me out

**Q: Wil the whip transetion between 8"- 6" round ? What size should be trimed down to?**
A: I honestly don't know if will work. Bristles come at over 20" in length and you have to trim them as you need.
I cut mines to 6.5" for the 6" flute but I believe 8" would be too long for 6" and 6" too short for the 8" to have a transition. Bristles must be snug to the flute's wall.
You might have to cut 2 sets of bristles and interchange them but seams too complected if you are on the roof. You could ask manufacturer to purchase an extra head.
Good luck with your project and make sure you snap sections completely so they do snap off in the chimney.

**Q: we have about 24' of pipe.  are additional nylon chimney rods available to add to this kit?**

Worked well, but brush material could be better. Also I don't see where you can buy additional rods.  I need one more length to get to the top of the chimney.Will amend this review if buying additional rods become available.
