Review: Just what I needed but pricey - Love my Syryn for daily lap swimming but tried less expensive replacement buds after the original buds failed. WRONG! Imitation buds failed within a short time and the short, coiled cord would get tangled in loose pieces of hair at base of swim cap. These new buds have great sound, fit the device perfectly. Downfall is the expense and product insurance is not cheap either. Probably a toss up between new buds and buying a complete new Syryn kit. Hoping these new buds will last as my bone conduction headset is awkward to position with swim cap in place.

I liked the fact there were different tips for the earbuds to ensure a secure fit because even just a little small or a little too big and they just don’t work. Took these for their inaugural swim this morning and I am incredibly pleased with the fit and the sound. Had zero issues with water leaking in and sound was clear. Once inserted they were almost flush with my ear and there was no pressure from my swim cap. The cord is shorter, but I just clipped my shuffle to the back of my swim strap and everything was fine. Absolutely would recommend and will probably buy another set to have on hand.

Love my Syryn for daily lap swimming but tried less expensive replacement buds after the original buds failed. WRONG! I listen to my phone while I swim or bike using a modified FM transmitter to a cheap $20 Waterproof FM radio/MP3 player and tested and tried MANY brands as I dialed in how to do this cuz you can't do it with bluetooth or 5.8ghz wifi wireless underwater, but you can an FM signal at 87.5 and swimbuds/Underwater Audio are simply the best. Improvements from older $40 white pair?- Night and day- WHOLLY CRAP THESE ARE GOOD!!!! - Hard plastic has a longer tube that goes much deeper in the ear canal that's textured to hold tight to same white rubber as the old version but in a new shape to keep water out and prevent the panic and noise of removing an earbud separated, stuck, and left in ear canal. I will always keep tweezers close just in case, but dought I will ever have to use them again. - Wire and cord is stronger and thicker and same "short" length, and comes with the same length extender to use when riding a bike or _______ - Sound and base? Just as good if not better, and hey lordy mama- beggars can't be choosers- I'm able to listen to audio books and Spotify while I swim... and last, old white rubber earbuds does NOT fit these (well), be sure to order correct and or call customer service as they are US-based, easily reached, and make Underwater Audio second to none.
