### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Enjoyable; not a favorite

As for the story, an investment advisor comes to Perry Mason - he's the trustee for a young lady; she's in love with a hippie-like dreamer. The trust is about to end, and the man has been very successful - she has far more money coming to her. To make matters more complicated, the investment manager is in love with the woman himself. One of the investments in the original portfolio was in some dog of a oil or mining stock that never did well, but there is a fight brewing for control of the company, and one side claims to have found new items. One of the men in the proxy fight is murdered, and the investment manager is blamed.So, this is rather classic Perry Mason story, but not one of my favorites.  It has more of a love story than some of the stories. It also is a bit dated, involving the beatnik (pre-hippie) crowd. It is average Perry Mason fare; I like it, but it's just not one of my favorites.
