We have all bought a peice of jewelry a week later it was full no shine. They aren't interested in return customers. Yes the gold is real. The way a company that is absolutely sure they want return customers is when they plate the item they use a high karat gold like 18k and apply it in very thin layers. Again the gold is real but they might put 20 layers on a piece of jewelry of 18kt gold.
