**Q: how does it work?**
A: Hi Nancy. You heat the milk, either by microwaving it in the glass of the frother or by stove top in a saucepan and then pouring the hot milk into the glass, then insert the frother, hold the lid down with one hand while pumping and the plunger vigorously with the other. The milk with become very foamy within about 20 seconds I usually keep frothing for about 40 seconds to achieve a nice fine foam.

**Q: Can this froth non-dairy alternatives like Almond Milk or Coconut Creamer?**
A: Hello, I have used it to froth non-dairy milks as well. Almond milk doesn't froth super well, but it does give it a bit of foam. Heating the milk up can help a bit as well. Also, you can froth, then pour out the foam and then re-froth. I've really liked this product so far.

**Q: country of manufacture please?**
A: A country where they forget to include the most important part...mine never worked...there was no tight seal and it never frothed

**Q: Can you use it to make whip cream?**
A: I use a different brand, same arrangement.  Works well to froth milk to cream.  I would not attempt to whip cream That's just another level.  Though tall, narrow bowl is the rule for hand whipping cream as that helps force aeration.  I just don't think the screen would work as well as a whisk to get the stiffer peaks you want for whipped cream.
