Fits most standard watering cans. The hole size is approx. 1.5mm Apply when the larvae are active in late Spring and early Autumn. High infestations may need two applications. The perfect team to stop weevil destroying your plant roots With our natural vine weevil killer and watering can rose you will achieve the perfect application of nematodes to stop vine weevil destroying the roots of your plants. These microscopic transparent worms (Heterorhabditis megidis) feed and multiply inside the larva. The nematodes seek out and kill vine weevil larvae. Please note Nematodes are live material and cannot be returned. They have an expiry date of around 2 weeks. The effectiveness can sometimes vary due to external factors. How to apply 1. Dissolve the entire contents of the pack in a bucket containing 1.5 litres of water to create a stock solution. 2. Stir vigorously and immediately take 0.5 litre of the stock solution, add to a 5 litre watering can fitted with a very coarse rose and fill with water. 3. Apply the solution to a third of the soil area to be treated. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the whole area is treated. 5. Water the treated area after application. 6. This pack fills 3 watering cans of 5 litres and treats up to 12m2.
