Review: Beautiful perfume - I truly can’t believe the quality and performance of this beautiful perfume. It is much better than many scents that are 10 times the cost for a watered down eau de toilette instead of perfume like this is. I am very particular about a scent’s longevity, and this one is quite surprising - I get 12+ hours on well moisturized skin. I use an unscented product for very dry skin before applying scents, which really extends the longevity of perfumes for me. I love powdery amber woody scents, which this is. It’s soft, sweet, warm, deep, and just gorgeous. I have learned that perfume needs to rest after shipping - it makes a huge difference in how it smells and performs if you will put it in a closet for a few weeks when you first receive it and just let it sit. When I open a bottle of this one, I order the next one. It is easily my favorite everyday scent if applied lightly, totally appropriate for the office, church, and anything daytime. More sprays amps it up to a sexy date/evening level. It stays on clothes forever. I often apply this to sleep in. Did I say I love it? I do.

Official notes are as follows: Top notes are saffron, citruses, marigold and spices Middle notes are Indian jasmine, Australian sandalwood and rose petals Base notes are benzoin and vanilla. I'm not a talented "nose" when it comes to fragrances. I can't detect really any of the notes mentioned other than sandalwood upon first spray. Nor did I realize I like sandalwood this much. When I sniff my arm, I can detect florals (rose and jasmine). I can't wait for the drydown! The opening is lovely and elegant. I could see how many people think this fragrance screams older woman, but I don't think so at all. I'm in my mid-30s and am LOVING this. If you like warm, cozy fragrances with a touch of elegance and mystique, you'll like this. I haven't directly smelled benzoin before, but I've read this is a component that turns many people off. Its possible this will "turn" on me once it settles on the skin, but I'll update my review if that's the case. I'd say this is a better fall/winter/cooler temp/evening fragrance. Will that stop me from wearing it in the late hot KY summer? Nope! Too long, didn't read: Recommended if you like more sultry, woodsy/warm scents. Fabulous value for the price!

**Q: would it be a good gift for my mom? shes in her 30s. would it suit her?**
A: I think so. I am in my 50s and I love it. I get compliments from every age group when I wear it. It is not a loud in your face perfume. It doesn't enter the room before you do or stays after your gone. I usually have people say, "you smell so good" when they hug me. Perfect.

**Q: it is original or not?**
A: Yes it is an original cologne. We carry only real fragrances.

**Q: Anyone else have trouble with the cap being too tight? Perhaps mine was just a fluke.**
A: Yes, in fact my cap is so tight that I must remove it carefully or the spray cap comes off as well. I just put the spray cap back on as tight as I can and use it anyway.

**Q: Does the box or packaging have Adam Levine's pic on it? It see it in review photos but not the listing pics?**
A: Yes the outer sleeve has his photo then there is an inner box with lid where the bottle is stored inside. Nice!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice but not as long lasting as expected

This is a beautiful sandalwood amber type fragrance. I’ve read a lot of reviews that said this is a very strong long lasting fragrance but I’m not experiencing that. It seems to be light to moderate in strength, projection and the longevity is actually a little less than average on my skin perhaps they’ve changed the formula? . It turned into a skin scent after about two hours. Still, I think it’s a beautiful scent and I would definitely recommend it. You can find this for less in stores though. Usually $10. I’ve had this perfume a few months now and although I do like it I don’t reach for it often. I think it smells a bit unisex.
