BUT it is amazingly sharp and versitile... thought it would be larger. A friend was going to buy a different shape until we looked at the tool I received.. Made in USA. Poor machining with uneven grinding on sharpened portions. Other than that, it is fine.

It is so very small and would work if wheel is spinning counter clockwise. No real ablity to keep it stable in your hand, theeh shaft is just round and thin. with the pottery wheel spining clockwise, you cannot use the straigh blade as it is facing the wrong way.
