My shower is a walk-in which is large but has no grab bars in it. This Medokare chair is plenty sturdy for my 200 lb frame. It was easy to put together. My only complaint is that it was missing one washer, but no problem really. When I put it in the shower it performed just as it should. It is plenty wide so as to be comfortable for access and the arm bars are perfect for assisting me to stand from the sitting position. The height is adjustable for my 6'2" height. I researched many shower chairs and this one has all the features I need. Great product Medokare !

Solid but lightweight. Excellent as a temporary chair. For something permanent a shower remodel with a seat would be the preferred way to go. Doubles as a chair to sit in to tie shoes after medical necessity ceases.
