I love the Open/Close function. As long as you keep the bottle squeezed, water is retained in the bowl. As soon as you release, it drains back into the bottle. The straps could be helpful for some, just not us. Great for traveling, durable, and quality of the material should last with normal use.

**Q: Is it hard to squeeze?  I have arthritis in both hands and they aren't very strong.**
A: It could be.  If you have gnarled fingers due to rheumatoid arthritis you could have a problem with this product. My wife definitely cannot squeeze the bottle with one hand enough to get it to work, nor is she able to manipulate the open/close  valve.

**Q: Does it fit in car cup holder?**
A: Does not fit in my car holder but know all of them are different sizes.

**Q: Will this fit in car cupholder?**
A: A larger sized cup holder- yes. Standard, no.

**Q: Can all the parts be put in the dishwasher?**
A: The manufacturer says they can.

Absolutely love these. The concept is so simple. The bowl is big enough that it's easy for my dogs to drink from. I love the Open/Close function. I have an 8 pound Morkie Poo. Daisy has thick hair and gets hot quickly. This small size is great for our long walks. It holds quite a bit of water. To keep it from getting too warm I fill it with cold water and ice from the fridge. Squeezing the bottle to dispense water is very easy. I especially like that it quickly opens and closes to avoid spills. Daisy drinks from it easily. There’s also a strap you can use to clip it on backpacks, etc. This is a good quality product at a good price!
