The fabric is not super breathable and the elastic / seam on the footholds and waist is super uncomfortable. Very itchy and rubs into the skin. Major bummer. ### ⭐⭐ NEW FABRIC, NOT THE CLASSIC COTTON BLEND! *by P***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2020* HATE, HATE, HATE THE NEW FABRIC CHANGE! Marika leggings have been my favorites for YEARS and the Brooke has always been my go-to, but these leggings arrived with a tag saying "NEW FABRIC! buttery soft!" and I hate it. I never would have bought these if I'd known they changed them. I loved the cotton of the original leggings (they are comfy and matte and go with everything) and I can't stand leggings that are shiny and slick, which is what this new material is. Also, the new fabric is WAY TOO STRETCHY. The old cotton blend was flexible to stretch, but strong enough to keep its shape and keep you tight and smoothed (which is the whole point of the "tummy control"). This new fabric doesn't do ANYTHING for you. Even the "slimming" waistband has too much give and folds over. I have always ordered a size small and the new material was so weak and too flexible that these don't even give me any kind of support. They fit like a size medium or large and there's no compression at all with this new fabric. GARBAGE. So upset they changed the material.
