For less demanding conditions, you may lighten the vest by using a single large pack in each pocket. Powered by PureTemp biobased phase change material, the packs can be recharged in just 20 minutes in ice and water. They may also be recharged in a refrigerator or freezer, basically anything colder than 59° F.SIZING: The Banox cooling vest is designed for adults. Used for workplace in a shipyard with high exposure to welding environment in Virginia heat in 90-100 degrees. Stays cool for the morning. Ice packs needed to be refrozen at lunch time -high tech ice pack liquid freezes very quickly in cold water! Works great, but there is some feeling of extra weight, as expected, but can use less ice pack inserts to relieve.
