Not silly bulging buns, just a roundness I have at Twenty-one. I'm 5'11" and 185. I'm fit, no stomach, and wear a 32 waist in jeans, 34 in dress slacks. The waist, for me, is tight. Not so I can't wear them, just tighter than I'd like. Consider a size up. It comes with a pad for the front as well, to to suggest you carry a load.
