They fit my feet perfectly, and they come with multiple insoles; one is very thin and designed to take away space if they're a little too large, and one is an orthotic insole for arch support and plantar fasciitis. I have plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, and its not aggravated at all. I've been wearing them everywhere for about two weeks, and my soles don't go numb like they did with other shoes and my feet dont ache at the end of the day. I also stumbled a lot in my old tennis, and had repeated twisted ankles. I went for a light jog in these, and I didn't stumble and I haven't twisted my ankles. I ordered these shoes as I was starting to have some foot pain ( especially in the Achilles area) and tiredness. Not being familiar with this particular brand I was understandably cautious about wearing them out of the house and not being able to return. Initially I was thinking they resembled hiking boots as opposed to walking shoes. I replaced the laces with solid black to give a more sleek appearance. Like the look better. I wore them in the house a few days before deciding to keep them. They are quite different feeling at first with the heel but after a bit not noticeable. I wore them to work and after a full day of up and down and the grocery shopping I did not even want to take them off when I got home.The real test was last night in the pit at a Creed concert. I am mid fifties and was quite concerned about being on my feet for several hours. Not once did my feet hurt last night and this morning no pain or tiredness at all. I am sold. This will not not be my last pair of G defy shoes. I feel that you will have nothing but comfortable days and nights wearing these shoes.
