Review: Great machine and excellent customer service - This is a sturdy and well-made little machine. I like everything about it. I had some issues with a missing washer when I got the machine, because desertcart had carelessly thrown the machine into a box. I called the customer service number on the manual and was amazed at the good quality of the customer service. A rep answered the phone promptly, spoke perfect English, and was very helpful. He explained I could use the machine without the washer and ordered a replacement part for me. I'm astonished that any company still exists that produces a solid, sturdy, functional, affordable little machine like this one and with good customer service to boot. This is how things used to be in the 1960s! I'm happy with this little machine. It's compact, easy to store, well-made, and a pleasure to use. Very simple, very functional. The display that shows steps, time, and calories is clear and easy to read. Definitely a nice workout "snack".
Review: Awesome little step machine! - I gained A LOT of weight after having my daughter. Was about 140 and gained almoat 100 lbs. I have been taking daily hour + walks and started a few different exercises daily. I had bought one of these a few years ago, same brand, not sure about the model but I wasn't able to take it with me when I moved. So I wanted to get another one to help me lose weight a little faster and for the days that I can't take walks. I must say I am impressed, I feel it in my legs after about 50 steps and I don't even have the resistance all the way up. It's super lightweight and doesn't take up much space at all, which is important because my living situation is pretty tight right now. It came assembled, just had to put the knob on for the resistance and clip the resistance bands on and it was ready to go! It's a very sturdy little machine and it definitely gets the job done! This machine is so quiet that I am able to use it only a few feet away from my daughter while she's asleep and it doesn't disturb her. I know that this is going to help me achieve my weight loss goals and am excited to have gotten it on sale!

**Q: I cant get the pedals to work.  Any suggestions?**
A: This review helped me solve this issue. "After you pull it out of the box, you need to put the two pedals up and rest the unit standing on the front leg and top meter. Make sure you have the meter facing away from you. This will allow you access to the tension knob #11 located under the center bar. [Pull the pedals up so the tension rod is showing and] Adjust the cable fit around the wheel then tighten the knob. The cable may look a little loose around the wheel, but it will tighten when you place the unit flat on the floor and put the pedals down.To test if you did it correctly, one pedal will go up when you push the other down. If it is not working, put the unit back up on the front bar and make sure the cable is seated properly on the wheel."

**Q: Can I use this if I am seated on a chair, or do I have to be standing?**
A: I tried it - I guess it depends on height of the chair.  Sitting in dining room I found it somewhat awkward but it is doable. If my chair was a little higher it might have been better

**Q: What is the difference between this one and the other Sunny Twist Stepper?**
A: Not sure the difference. I will say I really like my Sunny Twist Stepper.  Its very convient.  I leave it in my living room.  It doesnt take up much space.

**Q: Step on one foot rest, othe doesn't rise.  Is machine set up wrong?   newbie question...**
A: Make sure the steel cable between the two is on the "track" and adjust the knob under the foot rests - it may need to be tighter, if too tight, you can hardly make it work.  Took me a couple of tries to get it right - go to the "+" side first.  Hope this helps.

Overall, this stepper works well and gets the job done. It is easy to use, compact, and a convenient way to get some movement in at home without needing a lot of space. I have been using it for quick workouts, and it definitely helps get the heart rate up and keeps the legs engaged. It feels stable while in use and is straightforward to set up. The only downside is the tension. I wish it offered a bit more resistance, especially once you get used to it. It still provides a decent workout, but more adjustable or stronger tension would make it even better. Overall, a solid option for light to moderate workouts at home, especially if you are looking for something simple and space-saving.
