Review: Your neighbors living below will thank you. - My neighbors below me always complain about the noise my sound system makes even though I don’t turn it too loud. I would put my sub at 30% power and have my volume relatively low but they would come up and knock on my door claiming they “can’t even hear the TV.” As a result I would have my sub basically off and resorted to having headphones on if I wanted to listen to music. At some point I got sad that I couldn’t use my sound system to its potential and did some research on possible solutions and found out about insulation pads. I decided to buy one in hopes that it would solve my problem. I got the pad and put it under my sub. This is pretty mean in hindsight but I decided to conduct an “experiment.” I turned my sub to 50% power and put the volume pretty loud but not uncomfortably loud. I played some bass heavy low-fi trap music through the night until 2 AM. I put my hand on the floor and the wall behind the sub and felt no vibration! The next day I played music through the whole day while doing work still no complaints. I saw some reviews saying that the build quality is poor which is something to consider. For me personally it came in just fine with nothing falling apart. Also the bass sounds more sharp and I feel that the bass is more impactful perhaps because the bass isn’t just going into the ground. If you have issues with the neighbors below being annoyed I fully recommend this. It may also extract more performance from your sub.

A: Yes. I have a 12 inch Klipsch Subwoofer on top of mine.

A: As long as your sub is flat (no feet) it should fit fine. Yes, you can place the sub diagonally on the damper.

A: Yes.  Flat (zero degrees), five degrees, or 10 degrees, depending on how you arrange the included pieces.

**Q: Would this work for something like the htm1 d3 from b&w?**
A: I do not know what your model sub woofer is.  However, this sub woofer stand will work with any sub woofer that will fit on it.  I simply measured the dimensions of my speaker and bought the appropriate size. Please notice this unit comes in various sizes.  I started by buying 2 small ones in order to completely fit under my woofer and eliminate any vibration through my hardwood floors that were upsetting my townhouse neighbor. I then doubled my order to completely isolate my sub woofer so that I have 4 inches of cushion under my sub woofer.  Might be overkill but it worked beautifully. This also had the added benefit of giving me a much clearer sound in my family room surround sound system.  Hope this helps.  Ken

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not as described but not sure it matters?

Like others have stated, the description does not exactly fit the item in the box. Others have claimed these might be counterfeit and they might be right. The one I received is a dense piece of foam glued to a less dense piece of foam with a sticker on it. Even the description on the package claims a "cnc machined thick steel top plate"...? Nope, just foam. I choose to believe they redesigned these to save $ but didn't change the packaging. I'm not sure a "thick steel plate" is necessary or beneficial anyway. All that said, they work great for my application to get my CV VS120 pair off of the hardwood floor. These are fairly large speakers by today's standards and these "stabilizers" seem to support and position them well. These will surely cure them from walking across the floor during the mosh. The bass seems less booming but that might be wishful thinking. They have got to be doing something beneficial and for the price I'm satisfied.
