Earlier, I tried matching a KMC chain but it did not run smooth at all and was choppy, so I replaced it replaced with this two weeks later and it is excellent. I ordered a KMC reuseable masterlink or you can use the included pin to close the loop - that may be more for a professional if you’ve never done before. UPDATE: I got 5,000 miles (8,000 kilometers) of all-season hard riding and it ran flawlessly. No skipping, no chopping. Just smooth shifting and no noise.
