A: No it isn't made for that just use Gorilla tape

A: I used this tape to seal a leak on our tin roof. It did not want to reposition while being applied. After it was down it was not moveable or removable.

Good product, worked well for sealing the zip system panels and flashing all my doors and windows. It's nice being able to buy the small 30ft (~$23) rolls in a quick pinch, but if you've got time, I'd recommend ordering the 90ft rolls (~$33) in bulk or in singles on sites like ebay to save money.
