I bought this mainly as a cheap emergency back up blade . as just stated this is what I use it for I have cut so far cedar soft wood and some Maple along with walnut small strips of rose woods .I found this by accident one day when I busted my regular blade and was shopping for another I had a extra few bucks and said why not . there were not a lot of reviews but they were all 4-5 .Okay I use it on Rikon 10" band saw making Native American flutes . I do almost all my cutting off that saw so when the blade breaks I am /can be at a stand still . Keeping a bunch of top end extra blades when starting out is very costly as well . so With prime 2 -3 days I can be back running and not a heavy tie up in Blade inventory . This blade filled in a gap for those days also .I am not going to rip down my blanks with this blade but I cut smaller cuts ,general band-saw cutting small re-sawing not 6inch stuff .The blade has held up .
