Customer service was above and beyond *by R***R on May 13, 2019* Updated Review:Customer service contacted me right away and sent me a new unit. They followed up a few days later with a phone call to make sure it was working and that I was happy. They did a GREAT job of customer service, and the new unit appears to be working just fine.Original review:This unit must have a short or something inside of it, because it wouldn't stay powered on. And when it wasn't being powered itself, it cut power to whatever was plugged into it as well. For what I had plugged in, it was no big deal... but could you imagine if it was my refrigerator, and I learned the hard way that this unit was defective.My advice: Stay away from this thing ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm very happy as it does what it says it does *by T***D on February 8, 2018* For the price, I'm very happy as it does what it says it does. I bought it to see how much power my computers were using now that they are running under load 24/7 mining crypto currency. Definitely was worth the investment. As another has mentioned, it does not have a backlight, so it makes reading the screen quite difficult unless you are staring at it eye level, or it's in a brightly lit room. I had a flashlight nearby that I would just point at it to read it easily from a distance. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Instructions are useless *by W***E on May 7, 2019* The instruction sheet is unbelievably poorly written; totally incomprehensible to me. So I just plugged it in and it works fine. The only thing is, due to the poor instructions I am unable to set any of the features. Fortunately all I need to know is how many watts are consumed over a given time period, which it seems to be showing. The package arrived promptly and so far it is working well. The display is easy to read, and the meter seems to be of solid construction. Other reviewers have said the meter does not have a backlight, but mine does have one.
