I bought this to see if it could penetrate where zinc couldn't, clear up the head BO, and alleviate the itching that the zinc did not.I think it penetrated a little better than the zinc. It did not clear up my head BO... I don't know what will at this point. It helped the itching a little bit.As other people said, it just pours out of the bottle. It's a very thin liquid. I heeded other people's reviews and bought a squeeze bottle just for this purpose and it works just fine. I think this brand needs to heed this however and change up their product, it's ridiculous. This solution is watery, so it's easy to lose a lot of it pouring it into one's palm. It also comes in a bottle with no squeeze or pump top, so pouring it is the only way to go. However: It gets my scalp extremely clean and, for me, relieved all symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis completely with the first use. And it doesn't need to be used every day; a few times a week is fine, with any other shampoo in between. Totally effective on this schedule.Smells medicinal, but this does not stay in the hair after rinsing. Hair smells clean.
