The make shift ice chest with the mylar layers works better than any ice chest I have ever used. Ice lasts for one day, and it is light weight for backpacking and camping. That said, it is well made with solid seams and heavy enough materials for practical use, yet light and pack small. I purchased two, each of a different color, so I could easily distinguish the one with dirty/soapy water, I have been quite happy with the purchases. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Well *by M***O on September 16, 2017* I received my collapsible pail a few days ago and immediately put it to the test. I wanted to see exactly how well this item would hold and retain water prior to taking it on a camping trip. I filled the pail a little over half full with water and it retained its shape during filling. Carrying the pail was easy and no water spilled while carrying. I left the water in the pail for a couple of hours and there was no leakage or loss of water at all. The outside fabric remained completely dry. When collapsed, the pail fits nicely in a small carry sack which was included. It takes up very little space and is small enough to carry in a purse to the park or beach for easy clean ups.
