Review: Easy to Install - Will Update in 6 Months - The lock was easy to install using the QR code which leads to the app, and from the app I was able to install my partner and I's fingerprint. It was intuitive enough that we didn't need to use the instructions to do so. The lock was already charged, I appreciate that, but the rubber seal over the charging part was a little hard to pop open (I used a knife edge to open it and it was fine). Works well opening it with our finer prints and the app. Well done. I will use this lock on my garage and will probably open it 1 to 3 times per week. I will update how well it works in November 2023, if there are any long term issues. If I don't do so, that means there are none. I have other things to do. To those that have trouble using the lock every day and/or with "wet" gym fingers. 1. Dry off your finger, air it out, blow air on it. Maybe they have towels. Try yelling at it. Sorry this isn't Star Trek and every new technology doesn't work perfectly in every possible scenario. A lot of things don't work when saturated: car, cigars, paper, your laptop, etc., etc. 2. If you use everyday, a lot, the battery will die faster. Surprise. Surprise.

They have fixed the issues with this lock that they pointed out. Of course, no lock is 100% secure, I don't care who makes it. A grinder with a cut-off wheel will open one every time. But as far as this lock being easily and quickly accesses that has been fixed. This lock is very secure. My hands get pretty beat up with what I do for a living so the finger print reader does not always work. When my finger is not chewed up, and rough, it works every time. The app is a little clunky but it is very secure with it's separate password. You also must use the app to connect it to a secure bluetooth connection. I have had this lock for a while now and it has yet to be picked, unlike some of the other I was using.

**Q: how does one get it to lock again? unlocks fine, but then won't lock again, any suggestions?**
A: We’re experiencing the same issue. We got two. One works just fine but the other won’t lock back.

**Q: So,you opens this lock with the app opens on your phone at all time how does it works?**
A: The app is required to set up the fingerprints (up to 15 sets) of your padlock. After you set up the fingerprints, you can open the lock with your registered fingers without the app. You may use the app to open the lock too.

**Q: Will this work with sweaty fingers? Thinking of using this for a gym locker**
A: Hello, you need to wipe the sweat off your fingers before use.

**Q: Does the application have a function that'll disengage the lock at a certain time?**
A: No. You cannot set a time to unlock the padlock. But you can can share this padlock with authorized users.

The lock was easy to install using the QR code which leads to the app, and from the app I was able to install my partner and I's fingerprint. ### ⭐ It works... until it doesn’t...

Update: as advertised in the product description it was for, I put the lock on my fence. I checked it a couple of weeks later, it was working fine. Now three weeks later, it won’t function. It won’t unlock, it won’t connect via Bluetooth, charging it does no good. There is no information anywhere for any kind of tech support. My recommendation now, look elsewhere. Lowering my rating from 4 to 1. At first glance the lock seems to be well made. I was disappointed though when the USB charging port port cover broke off the second time I opened it. So much for the 'water resistance'. I 'repaired it by using electrical tape to hold it in place. Hopefully that keeps it sealed because I bought this for outdoor use on a fence gate. But never a good indication when you're fixing a product with tape before you ever get to use it... That said, as far as functionality goes, I do like it. Programming the finger prints was pretty easy though a little slow. I got it figured out, then had my wife do it and she struggled but I was able to help her through it. The responsiveness to the fingerprint scan seems to open the lock pretty quick. The bluetooth connection takes a minute but it does connect. If not for the charging port cover, I'd be very happy. Hopefully the tape holds!
