Review: free water pumped with free electricity is awesome! - I've been running this pump around 3 days per week for about 90 minutes. I power it with my jackery portable battery and it's a champ. I drilled a bunch of holes in the lid of a bucket, placed the pump in the bucket and then dropped the bucket into the river. I have just left the pump in the bucket in the river and it's performed flawlessly. im lifting the water from between 6 and 15 feet and pumping through 200 feet of garden hose. I planned to attach solar panels to the pump but after trying it out with the jackery I don't think I will change anything up. I have never used more than 15% of a full charge to do all of my irrigation. I planted a mess of trees this year and I don't think they would have made it if I hadn't been able to irrigate them so efficiently

I measured the output with a 5 gallon bucket which took 30 seconds. I guess it to be 9 to 10 gallons a minute which is probably the best you will get from a 3/4 hose. The output connection is cheap. It is the exact same size as 3/4 iron pipe, which will not thread into a fitting. I bought some 1" tubing from Lowes and stuffed a 3/4 x 6 inch galv. nipple in the other end for an adapter. I put a 3/4 x hose brass adapter to connect to a garden hose; Don't forget the hose clamp. I checked the flow with just the 2 foot piece of 1 inch tubing and it filled the bucket in 15 seconds, or 20 gpm, or 1200 gph. A 1 inch drain hose would flow better.

**Q: WIll the pump automatically shut off if the well runs out of water?**
A: It does not have auto shut off, no float switch or flow sensor.  If the water runs out, it will get hot and shut itself off, but that would not be a recommended condition.  If you are pumping until dry, look to add a flow sensing or float switch.

**Q: Will it build pressure, can you use with a pressure switch**
A: It does build pressure, I don't know how much though.

**Q: ¿Que significa tamaño zinc plateado?**
A: Si

**Q: How many amps does this draw? I have a 12v 10ah battery will it work?**
A: Can't say how many amps it draws but I use a 12V 25A 300W transformer, no issues. 120V input.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ bad output threads

The 3/4" threaded output is crap. The metal is so thin and the threads so poorly formed that I couldn't use them. I used the output as a 1" barb and put a hose clamp on it. It seems to be working ok. Besides that the pump seems ok.
