They were enough for several boilings and I was quite pleased as was late putting them in as it was well into summer. (Shop bought potatoes that were starting to sprout in cupboard) I think it’s trial and error to see what works best. The compost drys quickly so in hot weather they need watering everyday. For info only at the end of last year I put in garlic to try that and out of 8, 4 small shoots and 1 slightly longer shoot are to be seen.
