Review: Vibrant Colors - I love the colors, they are vibrant and my pieces came out great. I will buy again. Review: but this brand has been my favorite so far - I've been using gouache for about a year now, and I'm still relatively new to it, but this brand has been my favorite so far. It isn't "gouache" in the traditional sense, it's more of a matte acrylic, but that means it won't reactivate when wet so--praise the lord!!--what you put down on paper will stay there. Awesome for someone like me who drools over crisp lines, or if you want a background color to paint over that won't bleed through. The colors are also vibrant and mix beautifully. Regarding the seller, my paint came very quickly and with no hassle. The box was a bit scuffed, like it had been on an art store shelf, but the paint was otherwise fine. I would definitely order from here again. ## Features - Holbein Acrylic Gouache - Set of 5, Primary Colors, 20 ml Tubes - Primary Set - 20 ml (0.68 oz) - WARNING: THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS A CHEMICAL KNOWN TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO CAUSE CANCER. My students use them in the classroom and there is no odor in the room. **Q: Are these metal or plastic tubes?** A: Pretty sure they were plastic. I ended up sending mine back because one exploded so I can’t double check. Great quality acryla gouache though. I’m guessing it was a freak shipping accident. **Q: are these tubes big?** A: Each tube in the set of five is a bit over 3 1/2 inches long including the cap. A little over an inch wide at the crimped bottom end. This paint goes far so the size of the tubes is adequate unless you are painting something huge. I usually work 9"x12" or smaller. **Q: Do they re-wet? Do they allow reworking after they dry?** A: I have not tried reworking them. Since they are the acrylic variety I would not think so, but I did not attempt re-wetting the amount left. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vibrant Colors *by M***Y on May 14, 2026* I love the colors, they are vibrant and my pieces came out great.
