I decided we needed another spare battery and since my iRobot warranties are expired, tried a 3rd party battery. I've used it for several months with no problems charging or otherwise electrically. There is a slight mechanical issue. To accommodate the extra energy, battery is both heavier than the standard battery and it sticks out the back of the robot. This changes the weight bias toward the back and off of the cleaning pad. The wet cleaning cycle uses a vibrating mode on the pad and the noise is louder now with the weight redistribution. So, I'm using it primarily for running dry sweep cycles. I probably won't by another extra large battery, but would try one of this company's standard size batteries. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works great for longer! *by E***B on Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2020* I was skeptical. Worried my braava would meltdown or something. But this larger battery really does work! It does not over weigh the back of the unit or affect it's ability to clean. It DOES go FOREVER! I have the original battery too and a large house with all hard floors so I have tons of cleaning surface! This large battery will clean as long as I need it to! I have not had to switch to the original battery, it just keeps going! The thing I do have to watch for is refilling the water reservoir but the battery is a champ! Hasn't stopped on me yet and I have had it running for our 2 hours multiple times now! This replacement battery solved that and it lasts much longer.It fits the original charger as well as the robot. It is larger so it does pertrude to the back .
