The net frame is a hefty pvc pipe that goes together smoothly. The sticks are solid wood, with solid plastic blades that you fix into place with two screws. Overall well made for the price. The nets are front heavy and can tip over in a breeze, so a weight on the back is recommended. 4 stars because the sticks are unfinished wood. The first users got a few tiny splinters so I sanded and sprayed them with shellac.
