Ideal for professionals seeking a sleek, noise-free, and reliable door solution. ## Description The 24mm Heavy Duty Precision Magnetic Catch is an innovative and versatile product that is quick and easy to install. It is meant for use on very heavy interior doors. Strong neodymium magnets and stainless-steel components are used for the PLS24PRO-XHD and will not touch after installation. This means the product comes with a lifetime guarantee as the catches will never wear out. As the magnets are completely concealed and never touch, they produce no sound when closing the door. Small rubber stoppers are included to help cushion the door against the frame. The PLS24PRO-XHD is great for use on heavy interior doors, heavy bi-folding doors and heavy sliding doors. Quick and easy to install, the magnetic catch requires very little chiselling. Power adjustment packers can be used to increase magnetic holding strength. Five are included in the pack. The self-adhesive, brushed stainless steel cover plates conceal the magnets and screw head for a more attractive finish. It also serves to protect the magnets from corrosion. The PLS12PRO has an approximate maximum pulling force of 9kg. ## Features - SUITABLE FOR USE - on heavy duty doors and for all applications - NO LATCH NOISE - when opening and shutting door (unlike a roller/ball catch) - COMPLETELY CONCEALED - when the door is closed - QUICK AND EASY TO INSTALL - no chiselling required - KEEPS PROBLEM DOORS SHUT - e.g with weak door closers, eletric strikes etc. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07N1VQTV1 | | Best Sellers Rank | 147,268 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 411 in Cabinet Catches | | Brand | Precision | | Colour | Stainless Steel | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars (37) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05017178999253 | | Included Components | 2x PLS24PRO-XHD catches 5x adjustment packers 4x screws | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 24L x 24W x 24Th millimetres | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Thickness | 24 Millimetres | | Item Type Name | Concealed Magnetic Catch | | Item Weight | 0.01 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Precision | | Manufacturer Part Number | PLS24PRO-XHD | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | PLS24PRO-XHD | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Product Warranty | Lifetime magnetic guarantee. | | Pull Force | 9 Kilograms | | Unit Count | 2.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Precision - **Colour:** Stainless Steel - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Product dimensions:** 24L x 24W x 24Th millimetres - **Shape:** Rectangular ## Images ![Precision Lock PLS24PRO-XHD Concealed Magnetic Catch, Stainless Steel, 24-75mm Heavy Duty - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/811Jso6rpkL.jpg) ![Precision Lock PLS24PRO-XHD Concealed Magnetic Catch, Stainless Steel, 24-75mm Heavy Duty - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Qo8EEA-PL.jpg) ![Precision Lock PLS24PRO-XHD Concealed Magnetic Catch, Stainless Steel, 24-75mm Heavy Duty - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31oNWp9W2NL.jpg) ![Precision Lock PLS24PRO-XHD Concealed Magnetic Catch, Stainless Steel, 24-75mm Heavy Duty - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31vDZUnimGL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How strong are these magnets? Would a cat be able to push the door open with these in place?** A: They are amazingly strong. You must ensure that they are installed with sufficient offset to ensure they hold the door together and not too far apart (I let the magnet in our door head project down as far as I could). Our moggie used to push the door open but not anymore! **Q: Suitable for a fire door?** A: No, it does not comply with fire regulations. You need a standard door lock and a self closing device. Generally speaking, sliding doors (which this type of catch is intended for ) cannot operate as fire doors. **Q: Would these work to hold a small hinged table flap up? One would be in the flap, the other in the wooden upright the flap is hinged onto.** A: These catches are really strong. I think the catch would hold it. It hold the door closed to the winter coats cupboard which is really full. **Q: I have a metal framed sliding wardobe door that keeps opening. If i fitted one of these in the wall would it hold the door closed?** A: I would imagine it would.. very strong magnet. ## Frequently Bought Together - Precision Lock PLS24PRO-XHD Concealed Magnetic Catch, Stainless Steel, 24-75mm Heavy Duty - Precision Lock PLS 24 PRO Concealed Magnetic Catch for Light to Heavy Duty Doors with Thickness Greater Than 30 mm (1.18"), Pack of 2 - Precision Lock PLS-24 PRO Concealed Magnetic Catch (Fоur Paсk) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/117218129-precision-lock-pls24pro-xhd-concealed-magnetic-catch-stainless-steel-24](https://www.desertcart.us/products/117218129-precision-lock-pls24pro-xhd-concealed-magnetic-catch-stainless-steel-24) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
