My grandchildren can hold the device, the LED lights are integral, and the focus adjusting is a one-handed affair. The images pop up in real time on the screen for all to see, and can be saved as robust PNG images (crisper than JPEG but just as easy to move around). We capture dead things, live things, you name it. Photos, videos, time-lapse. Expensive, but a never tiring tool to investigate anything.
