My husband and I worked together on them. They are quite heavy when filled and don't move too easily on the deck once in place....but after all, that's kind of what the goal is, right? Even after filling them with 100 lbs of play sand they can be split apart at the Velcro seam to remove for adjustments or relocation of the umbrella base. However, so far so good. The little scoop was nice but cheap and the handle easily snapped off. I bought two 50 lb. bags of sand but was only able to use barely a bag and a half, so not sure it truly holds 100lb of sand?
