He would wake up in the middle of the night piercing screaming with no warning, head banging, self injure himself (smacking,punching) on his head every single night. He likes to keep it around his head and on his chest as his typical area of pressure he prefers but it's not too heavy that I can't trust the item with him in his crib alone but just enough of pressure of feeling of a hug. I love the double sided option for warm and cooling down. It still does feel a little warmer on not as breathable on the cool side than I would prefer for his controlled room temp and my son is a night sweater but he still enjoys it and I'll still take it as a win! I just go in the Middle of the night take it off for a minute to cool him down and he's all good.
