First they don’t come with instructions to install thankfully my husband is handy but if your not you will have no idea how to install. Second once I opened the box the first thing I noticed is that the stain they used on the wood is smudged with fingerprints. Very sloppy job with staining and I wouldn’t of minded if it was on the piece facing the wall but it’s on the front where everyone can see. Third they don’t sit flush or even close to the wall and so the shelf is extremely flimsy and will not be able to bear ANY weight at all. $50 is a rip off they are junk and don’t serve their purpose. Color of the shelves does not match the color on the product pictures2. Even every shelf in the same set have a different color (see picture)3. The shelves stain fingers when you touch them - not sure whether it is a finish coating or carbon after fire4. You can feel the smell of a burned wood (probably during their production process)5. There is a defect on the front edge of one shelf - probably damaged during the production and then stained6.
