This is our 7 year old son’s with autism favorite toy. The toy has really been improved over the last year. The plates do not fall off or get loose as easily. I’ve found we can extend the life of the ball by opening up the ball and tighten the screws that fasten the plates if they get loose. I would say about 1 in 10 balls do not work as well (not as loud or jiggle as fast) or last as long. Every now and then we get one that does not work at all.It’s very durable. He throws it down stairs and kicks it around the driveway for days before it stops working. I change the batteries after about 15-20 hrs. of use.
